Parents Association Update

Our Parents Association AGM was held last Wednesday. Thank you to all who attended the meeting. We are delighted that Mary Mc Donnell (Chairperson) and Teresa Ann Grimes (Secretary) have decided to stay on for another year. Tina Grimes has stepped down as Treasurer after many years. We would like to thank her for all her help on the committee. Natalie McGovern has kindly offered to take on the role of Treasurer. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our PA and our parent body for all their hard work and support to the school. We look forward to the upcoming Halloween Party.

   Dress-Up Day

We will have a dress-up day for all children in school on Friday 28th and are looking forward to seeing what characters, creatures and creations arrive to school! School will close at the normal time on Friday, 28th October and will re-open on Monday, November 7th November at 9.20am. We hope you have a safe and enjoyable Mid-Term break.

                        Helping our Children with Maths

Sorcha Moran from the Education Training Board recently contacted our school to see if we would be interested in running a course for parents on supporting your children in Maths in the Primary School. She needs a minimum of 7 parents to run the course. It would take place after Christmas on a Tuesday or Wednesday evening in the school.  Please fill out the form below so we can get an idea of possible numbers.

She also runs a weekly course in Carrowbeg College, Westport on Thursday mornings from 11.00-1.00pm. If you are interested in joining her group please contact her on 087-6977615.
